When you walk in the door, you arrive in our eating and art area. I cook meals from scratch on the weekends and serve them to the children during the week. Balanced nutrition is an important to me. Turn to the right and here's the Parent Information Center. The computer is where you will sign your child in and out of child care with your personal code. To the left is where we keep personal belongings in each child's cubby. To the right of the cubbies is the entrance to our playroom. This is our Playroom where we play, sing, dance, and have fun. The toys are washed and rotated often in our Toy Wash and Swap. We have Morning Toys daily using my Plan B Schedule. The low climbing structure provides an outlet for the toddlers to get out their energy. One of the most popular toys is the play kitchen. Here's our infant equipment. Babies who are not yet ready for the playroom spend time in a swing, saucer, seat, high chair, play pen, and being held as needed. There is something for everyone to do. I include infants as much as possible in the activities of the older children by putting them at the table for meals and group activities and supervising them as they spend time in the playroom for short periods of time. These are our dogs; a Beagle and a Chihuahua mix. They are an important part of our child care and work as theapy dogs. Many times, children stop crying when they see the dogs, and the dogs encourage the children to do many things. The children also love our fish. For more about our pets, check out Our Pets.
