MONDAY Tire Painting: Run toy truck tires in paint (Duplo wheels work great) and track on paper. Play with Toy Tools: While playing with the tools, talk about the different jobs that use the tools like wood worker, mechanic, etc. Recite:

TUESDAY

NOTE: Ahead of time save your junk mail for this activity.
Cancel Mail
: Allow the children to stamp on old junk mail to "cancel it".
Now provide a Mailbox (a box with a slit) to put the letters in. Next have the children open the mail.
WEDNESDAY Teach all or some of this Pilate lesson from clclutheran.org.

Make a Thumbody Loves Us Poster. Have the children "stamp" their thumbs all over a sheet of paper (all children on the same paper). Write "Thumbody Loves Us" and the Bible verse on the paper and hang in the classroom.
THURSDAY Band-Aid Collage: Have the children put Band-Aids on paper to make a collage. Play Doctor's Office using dolls to "doctor".
FRIDAY Make a Community Helper Collage. Go through magazines and pre-cut out community helpers. Have the children make a collage. Be Painters: Paint the sidewalk or outside the house with water.

Mail Letters: Have the parents send in self-addressed stamped envlopes. Have the children draw a picture, then mail it to their parents. Sensory Project

Fill latex gloves with different sensory items and let the children feel the differences.

Example: sand, water, air, nuts, oatmeal, oatmeal and water mixed together, etc.

Parent Show & Tell

Have parents come in to talk about their jobs and/or have the parents bring items that they use in their jobs to share with the children.
