THURSDAY Make a Grandparent's Day Card. Use the toddlers' handprints. Baby Bottle Bowling--Line up 4 to 6 old baby bottles (without the nipples). Roll a soft ball to knock them down. Explain that the toddlers are not babies any more and they don't need those bottles.
FRIDAY Shaving like Daddy--Provide children with a lump of shaving cream on the table in front of them and a tongue depressor. Show them how to put some shaving cream on their cheeks and scrape it off with the tongue depressor, just like Daddy! Practice Ready, Set, Go! I teach my toddlers to run whenever I say, "Ready, set, GO!" They love it and it comes in handy when I need them to move fast from one place to another.
