    TUESDAY

    The Very Hungry Caterpillar

    **In the morning make a caterpillar craft.

    **Before nap talk about how a caterpillar goes to sleep and wakes up a butterfly.

    **After nap make Handprint Butterflies.

    Play Cacoon. Take turns rolling up in a blanket like a cacoon.
    WEDNESDAY

    The Very Busy Spider

    Hand Print Spider: Fold a piece of construction paper in half. Place half of palm on the fold with the fingers pointing out. Trace hand without thumb and cut out (don't cut the fold!) When you open it up, you will have a spider with eight legs. Add features if desired. Make a Spider Web. Take one or more balls of yarn and toss randomly from child to child.
    THURSDAY

    The Very Quiet Cricket

    Real Crickets: get several crickets from a bait shop and let your children watch them make noise. Once your children have seen them take them outside and set them free. Play Quiet Cricket: Pretend to be quiet crickets. Practice throughout the day.
    FRIDAY

    Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?

    Use these Brown Bear Templates for any or all of the suggested activities. Hold up toy or paper Animals and ask the children the color and/or sound of the animals.
